HP-type Hook-on Ceiling Series

System Description

The Hook-on ceiling is a compact and rigid structure, it has excellent performance in wind load and suitable for both indoor and outdoor application. It is commonly used in Design Ceiling. There are mainly two categories : Standard size ( refer to specifications table ) and Non-Standard size, it is custom made and subject to architects / designers requirement, we will provide solution based on each unique design.

Wellbone® For the Non-standard items, we can produce panel up to 4000mm in length, and 50~1500mm in width. The bigger in size will require thicker gauge material depends on the wind load requirement.


Suspension consist of Z-runner and pre-punched L-runner, position the pre-punched L-runner by suspension bolt from soffit and adjusted to the ceiling level, screw fixed the Z-runner to the pre-punched L-runner, hook on the panel to complete the installation. Wind proof clip is required for outdoor application, addition of flexible tape between joints help in vibration proof and good looking. If high wind proof coefficient is required, it will subject to RSE’s calculation on the suspension frame.


The hook-on ceiling is made of aluminum and all the parts are made of galvanized steel. Material can switch to harder alloy if necessary. Aluminum is light, not easy for oxidation which suitable for area with high humidity. Panel switch to Galvanized Steel will have better strength and fire protection. Panel is finished with powder coating, it is one of the best environmental friendly paint, coating thickness can reach 60 to 80 microns, with the best sealing performance, rich and colorful texture effects. It can also switch to fluorocarbon finish if necessary.


Hook-on ceiling is normally matte white, smooth and easy to clean.

Panel with perforated can help in good ventilation, backing with sound absorption tissue can result acoustic function. Wellbone® also can provide different option in color for the choice of your designer to create the ideal working and living space.
